She is playful, lovable, and can be a big couch potato. She loves to chase after balls and other toys and bring then back but hasn't quite mastered releasing the ball or toy to who ever she is playing with. She loves to have a kennel mate and someone to hang with. She will make a great addition to any home. She knows sit, lay down and roll. She is very obedient and only aims to please. Paula weighs in at 0 pounds and she is approximately 2 yrs old. OUT OF STATE adoptions are possible. If you are working with For The Love Of Dogs/Vermont Dog Rescue, the additional fee is $200 to cover transportation costs and the health certificate, which is required to cross state lines. Transport to other areas is dependent on location, fees, and availability of independent transport services. You are always welcome to pick up your new family member. We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes. We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3 organization. We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets. We do not adopt to 'outside only' homes nor do we adopt to anyone who wishes to crop, dock, or do any other alterations except the spaying and neutering of their pets. All pets are completely vetted, up to date on all vaccines, and given rabies certificates. ALL PUPPIES NOT SPAYED OR NEUTERED PRIOR TO ADOPTION WILL REQUIRE A SPAY NEUTER CONTRACT SIGNED AND DATED BY ADOPTERS. (Less)

Apache's cute little stubby face may make him appear aloof or stuck up, but really he is a shy sweetheart just waiting for his forever family to come, find him, and adopt him, despite his shyness. Apache has come a long way and still is working on his courage, and with the right family we know he will bloom and be forever yours.     Sweet and shy Madison is available for adoption for our $40 adoption fee. She is between 6 and 7 years old, a lovely lady, and looks like she could have some Plott Hound and Rottweiler mix in her background. She is a bigger gal, but can be a little nervous-she will need an understanding person or family to help her adjust to her awesome new life.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Alabama
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
