My name is Madison. I get overlooked all the time because I am a 8 year old dog and not a puppy. I have so much love to give. I have been sponsored by American Legion Post 94 since January 7th of 2015. I am sponsored by Post 94 while I am at the shelter waiting for my forever family to come and take me home. I came to the shelter with my two baby puppies B.J. and Velveeta. We are all still here. I am a 8 year old middle aged female. I am spayed and ready for my very own family to love me and me to love them. My birthday is April 5th. I live at the shelter with my roommate Smiley. We spend our days relaxing and playing. I am shy at first ... (Read More)but I love all people that I know. I love to be talked to and petted. I have been at the shelter a long time so I need my new family to be patient with me as I adapt to my new home and family. I would love to share a couch, a floor pillow and maybe a yard to run free in. Please contact or visit the shelter if you are interested in me. Once again, I want to thank American Legion Post 94 for sponsoring me the last three years. Please consider opening up your hearts and home to me. You will be glad you did. I have so much love to give and I yearn to be loved. (Less)

This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
