Jewels is older but very loving. She never fails to come say hello when anyone gets home. She loves children and wants to play whenever they come by. She is currently at a house that neglects her and is in need of a home or group that will take care of her.

|Rescue Me ID: 18-03-03-00427Clarabelle (female)|
Clarabelle is sweet 18 month old Lab mix that was found as a stray with Honey who we think is her daughter. She is very well behaved and belonged to someone at some point. She has very good house manners and walks well on a leash but if you are standing and not moving she will lay at your feet. She loves the young kids in the house and acts as a wonderful babysitter. Clarabelle is HOUSEBROKEN, has been spayed, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and is heartworm Negative. Her adoption fee is $200.

Monte's a really great dog. Loves children and other dogs. Can get out of control with the jumping on people. Eats far too fast which can cause bloat. He has trouble walking on a leash and riding in a vehicle.

hes been a great dog very playful with adults and children up until last saturday. the kids in the last 2 yrs have played with him almost everyday. but he growled and snapped biting my daughters hand. i dont know what triggered it but other than this hiccup he has been awesome very good guard dog, listens well and energetic but would love to find him a good home.

|Rescue Me ID: 14-09-07-00410Madison (female)|
My name is Madison. I get overlooked all the time because I am a 8 year old dog and not a puppy. I have so much love to give. I have been sponsored by American Legion Post 94 since January 7th of 2015. I am sponsored by Post 94 while I am at the shelter waiting for my forever family to come and take me home. I came to the shelter with my two baby puppies B.J. and Velveeta. We are all still here. I am a 8 year old middle aged female. I am spayed and ready for my very own family to love me and me to love them. My birthday is April 5th. I live at the shelter with my roommate Smiley. We spend our days relaxing and playing. I am shy at first but I love all people that I know. I love to be talked to and petted. I have been at the shelter a long time so I need my new family to be patient with me as I adapt to my new home and family. I would love to share a couch, a floor pillow and maybe a yard to run free in. Please contact or visit the shelter if you are interested in me. Once again, I want to thank American Legion Post 94 for sponsoring me the last three years. Please consider opening up your hearts and home to me. You will be glad you did. I have so much love to give and I yearn to be loved. (Less)

Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Alabama if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
