Rescue Me ID: 15-04-03-00172Guenhwyvar (Gwenifer) (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I have had her since a she was a puppy. Unfortunately, she is not good with other my other dogs. I had to re-home one dog because of her, and she recently just attacked one of my other dogs. She is great with people, extremely loyal and sweet. She loves attention. So much so, she is jealous of other dogs. I can't have her in my home any more, and plan to surrender her to the SPCA on the 6th of April. I really don't want to do that, but don't know what else to do. She would be perfect for an experienced dog owner, or an owner without other dogs. Also great with kids, (she was raised around my children and is as submissive to them as ... PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Delaware
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Delaware if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
