Are you ready to open your home to a sweetheart of a dog? Meet Lady. A loveable mixed breed who loves nothing more then to go on long walks with her foster dad and being scratched behind the ears, Rescued from Indianapolis Animal Care and Control, Shepard or Rottweiler mix we aren't sure but she does have a medium length coat. Her foster family reports that she is a very mellow dog and so well behaved. She is spayed, vaccinated, hw negative and microchipped. Lady is a happy girl and loves to wag her tail all the time. She gets along with other dogs and people. The shelter thinks she might be about 8 years old but we aren't so sure about that! She sure seems younger and isn't afraid to get up and go. She has already learned the commands sit and go lay down. (That last one sure comes in handy!) For more information on this goofy big hearted girl, please contact her foster mom Patrice at 858-722-8666. Thanks to sponsors my adoption fee has been waived! Did you know?? Adopting a dog from Last Call K9s makes room for another dog to be saved on death row? Note* Visual breed identification is often unreliable so for most of the dogs we can only guess the predominant breed or breed mix. (Less)

|Animal ID: 824Brujay (male)|
Brujay has been a great dog for about 6 years. We now have 2 little girls and he is starting to get very bothered by them because of his hip problems. He growls at them occasionally and they do not understand and try to play with him, jump around him, etc. It makes him nervous and my husband and I nervous because we know something could happen to our girls if he gets too annoyed. We want him to find a good home, with no kids or cats, where he can peacefully live out the rest of his years. He is up to date on all vaccinations and he will come with a 30 lb bag of food, as well as his doggie pillow that he sleeps on each night. Text or email for info (Less)

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Indiana|
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Indiana if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
