Animal ID: 824Brujay (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Arthritis

Brujay has been a great dog for about 6 years. We now have 2 little girls and he is starting to get very bothered by them because of his hip problems. He growls at them occasionally and they do not understand and try to play with him, jump around him, etc. It makes him nervous and my husband and I nervous because we know something could happen to our girls if he gets too annoyed. We want him to find a good home, with no kids or cats, where he can peacefully live out the rest of his years. He is up to date on all vaccinations and he will come with a 30 lb bag of food, as well as his doggie pillow that he sleeps on each night. Text or email ... (Read More)for info (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-03-15-00594Moxie (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Most Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Moxie - 7 year old female. Black and Tan Coonhound/Rottweiler ? mix. Approximately 50 lbs. Housetrained. Up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped. Adoption fee $150.00 Moxie is such a sweet girl! She is super affectionate and playful. She is dog and cat friendly, however she does best with medium-large dogs because of her bouncy, playful energy. She came to us in pretty rough shape and is still healing from a skin infection but has made such great strides! She loves running around the yard playing 'keep away' with sticks or toys. She rarely barks and is very quiet both inside and outside the house. Even though she's 7 years ... (Read More)old, she still has a lot of play and spunk! We recommend that be in a home with older children. While she loves kids and is great with them, she really loves her food and we wouldn't want a child to accidentally get injured if they would happen to stick their hands in her food bowl. We don't want this to scare away anyone because she does great in this area with her foster mom. We are just recommending older children for this reason. Whoever adopts this good girl is going to be very lucky! (Less)

This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
