This is Captain. We adopted him from a shelter when he was six weeks old and we have had him since. He is very easily frightened and becomes aggressive towards things that frighten him (balloons, luggage, etc...). He has done well around our 9 year old, however, we have a one year old that he has become increasingly aggressive towards. He has been barking and snapping at the baby and as such needs to be re-homed ASAP.

I have 2 8yr old mixed rottie brothers and unfortunately we have to move and are unable to take them with us. They are unpredictable, although they have never bitten anyone they have.growled and lunged when someone tried to.approach. I'm hoping someone can take them as a pair since they have never been separated and also with their age they only have a few yrs left. We would hate to have to euthanize them due to no fault of their own!! Please help!

A golden Rottweiler-you have to admit, you don't see that very often! Purv was raised in a barn, and is very quiet-just learning what it means to be socialized with humans. He is a bit nervous at first, but warms up to you. He really doesn't know how to play, but with your dedication, he would learn! Check out his profile on our rescue site! www.reachoutrescue.org

Unfortunately, due to my fianc̩s untimely passing - though I work full time and am also a full time student, receives state housing assistance. After 4 years in my care, and 5 years with her fianc̩, the housing unit changed ownership and I am being forced to either move or find Moe a new home. Unfortunately, I am the sole provider for our two girls (whom Moe adores, and vice versa), and am unable to find another home in the system which can accommodate our family and Moe.

He is an energetic dog who wants a lot of affection. Very obedient and loves to do tricks for treats. We have another dog he does not get along with so we have to get rid of him, he's trying to put him in a shelter and I'd prefer for him to be with a family immediately

Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Maryland if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
