Rocco wants a home! This is Rocco. He is a great pup and really wants a forever home. Rocco is 9 months old. He is fully vetted, housebroken, and crate trained. He needs someone at home during the day. He is high energy and as with all dogs at this age he needs guidance and exercise. Rocco hasn't had a lot of exposure to other dogs but has no aggression issues. Rocco needs basic obedience training so that he can learn all the essentials for a happy dog/owner relationship. Rocco will make someone a perfect pet but a few things are required to make it all work. He cannot be left alone all day. He is a puppy! He needs a fenced in yard but a split rail and wire fence will NOT work with Rocco. He knows how to escape from those. He is very smart! The yard must have gates that can be locked. If you have the time and patience for Rocco and the environment for him he will not let you down. Experience raising a Rottie puppy is necessary. Many dogs lose their homes when they become a handful and owners don't realize training = happy forever home! Adoption application on website. Rocco is available for adoption in in MD and northern VA ONLY. FENCED YARD REQUIRED. Rocco has not been around other dogs. His reaction is not aggression. He has no idea what to do. If you are interested in Rocco, please fill at our online adoption application here: http://md-novarotties.org (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 17-02-01-00390Molly (female)|
Good Golly, it's Molly! This is a VERY sweet dog that loves all people, and other dogs. She is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, dewormed, has a microchip, and heartworm test done. She is a beautiful dog and a big girl for being not quite a year old. Molly has never been taught any basic commands at all. But her personality is amazing. She is a happy dog and has no aggression except to guard toys and food sometimes but she has come a long way. She has had a few homes just because she is like a huge puppy and instead of teaching her anything she was given away. She needs a home with an experienced Rottie person who is willing to work with her. Molly is crate trained and housebroken but she needs a lot of one to one time to be taught the things she doesn't know. She is not the dog for children or small dogs because she will jump on children and could possibly hurt a small dog by accident. A fenced yard is required, no exceptions. Molly is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and ready for her new home. Please fill out our online adoption application and should you have any trouble with that feel free to email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org so we can send you an application as an attachment. Molly is available for adoption only in Maryland and Northern Virginia. If you are interested in Molly, our online adoption application is located here: http://md-novarotties.org (Less)

Beau is a Lab / Rottie / GSD mix. 70 lbs. Super affectionate with people but has a little trouble curbing his excitement. Knows basic commands (Sit, Stay, Wait, Heel, Settle, Let's Go, Release, Free ). He requires someone with a FENCED yard and room for him to run, has a large playful dog for him to play with, a schedule that allows daily walks, has large-breed training experience and unending patience. He shows no food aggression and just wants to play constantly. Is treat-motivated during training. Is up-to-date on all vaccines. Neutered. Is crated at night and sleeps through the night without making a noise. Nice young fella! Interested? Slappy is an older dog. He is still high energy, though. He was dropped off at my elderly mother's home by another family member, and he is in need of a forever home. My mother will be having knee surgery soon, and she can not take care of him.

Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Maryland if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
