|Rescue Me ID: 17-12-16-00289Albert (male)|
Albert (formerly Aleph) was born on 1/6/17 to a stray we'd taken in. He was - and still is! - the sweetest puppy in the litter. He loves sitting on your lap or curling up next to you on the couch, and he loves to play with other dogs. He's a very laid-back boy, and quite friendly with our other dogs no matter how much they pounce on him. Albert is usually a very easygoing dog, but he does have some separation anxiety and will be happiest in a family who is willing to use a crate while they're out of the house. Albert responds well to other dogs' behavior, and would do well in a household with more than one dog. If your dog is relaxed while you're gone, Albert will find it easier to relax too. If you think Albert would be a good fit for your family, please fill out an application for him here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfK4WY2gnXcR7VVVnFqdtiPIDQll4LS9UMkTyBsRenzAG7RoQ/viewform#start=openform and you can read more about Albert and his brothers and sisters here: http://menaceandwhimsy.com/detroit-rescue-puppies-available-3172017 Please note: We are happy to respond to general questions, but we will only consider potential adopters who fill out an adoption application. |Rescue Me ID: 17-11-08-00133Sparkplug (male)|
If you are looking for a big lug of a dog to cuddle with on the couch or to play fetch in the yard, Sparkplug is your guy! He weighs in at a whopping 96 lbs, but he is working on losing a few pounds. He is a friendly, laid back dog who really would just enjoy a game of fetch in the yard and then hanging out on the couch watching the game. He is heartworm positive, so his adopter will get a 6 month supply of Advantage Multi to kick those worms out! He is around 5 years old, has a fabulous deep bark and wiggles his but when he wags his tail! He is neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $250.00. Older children preferred, only due to his size. He gets along great with dogs, but we are unsure how he is with cats. Contact us at email@example.com to find out more about Sparkplug! (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 17-09-21-00061Buster & Lulu |
Looking for a good home for Buster and Lulu! Buster and Lulu, born September 27, 2012 are brother and sister German Shepherds. Buster is a neutered male, weighs 100 lbs. and has long fur. Lulu is an unspayed female, weighs 90 lbs and has short fur. Per veterinarian records, they are listed as German Shepherd with a small amount of Black Labrador and Rottweiler in their lineage. They are up to date on their vaccinations as of January 2017. Both are very friendly, with people and other dogs, including small dogs when properly introduced. Their compatibility with cats is not good. They are protective and will guard their territory and loved ones. They have lived inside the home, but can be acclimated to outdoor living. Both were orphaned when their owners passed away in late 2016. If possible, it is desired to keep them together as they have never been apart. They have been cared for by family at the owner's estate, but a new home has to be found as the estate is going on the market. The family is willing to pay to have Lulu spayed if that would assist in adoption. There is a fully refundable adoption fee if terms of the adoption are met and the adoption is successful. If interested, please call (586) 531-5041 and ask for Paul, or email firstname.lastname@example.org (Less)

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Michigan|
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
