Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

We went to visit Kirra at Harbor Humane Society. She was not adjusting well with all the other dogs and seemed very nervous. We agreed a calmer setting might be a better fit. BestPals decided to bring her here. She is adjusting well and walks great on leash. She met one of our other dogs and many of our cats. Walks great on a leash. She is a 2 yr old Lab/Rottweiler mix. Spayed and up-to-date on shots. 49 lbs. She's a bit reactive to other dogs so we are still trying to figure out her temperament. Could she be your next best friend? Adoption fee $150

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Michigan
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
