|Rescue Me ID: 14-11-14-00447Odin (male)|
Odin is a family dog who has spent his time as an indoor dog for the most part. The only reason we are looking for a new family is because we lost our home and the apt we relocated to does not allow his size or breed. Odin is even tempered and laid back. He does have some food sensitivities but we have found that if we stay away from beef and wheat he does okay. He is house broken and has gotten along with our various cats and our other small dog. He needs room to run but prefers to be indoors. He is literally a giant teddy bear and we want only the very best for him. We need to find a place soon as he is being temporarily housed with a friend, but they need to keep him outside and it is getting very cold. Please help us find Odin a place where he will be happy and loved. We would like to keep in touch with the new family if possible to see how he is getting along. (Less)

|Rescue Me ID: 14-10-14-00766Titus (male)|
We adopted Titus under false pretenses about his personality around other dogs and children. This boy is a little feisty, but he's very sweet. Unfortunately when he gets too excited he starts mouthing really roughly. I would love to keep him, but he doesn't get along with my dog nor do I feel safe to let him out of the kitchen when my nieces and nephew are over. I would really love to see him go into a home that might be more accommodating to his personality and his rather large stature. Thank you.

Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Michigan if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
