Animal ID: 533Randy (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Hi, my name is Randy. I was caught after running around town loose. I'm a very happy dog and I guess I just didn't understand the danger of not having a home. I got lucky because they found me before anything really bad happened. I'm a fast learner and good on a leash. I've got lots of energy but I'm also obedient. I would make an excellent running partner. I would love to find a home where I can be someone's very best friend. Do you need a new pal? How about you come pay me a visit? I think I can charm my way into your heart.

Sadie is a sweetheart. When you go to pet her, she lays down and just wants her belly rubbed. We are moving and Im having a hard time finding somewhere that I can take all 6 of my dogs. The rescues in my area are full. So I thought I would try this. She cant be around cats. She is house trained, however she is outside all day at my house and we rotate dogs around. She only barks when a stranger is on the property. She would do absolutely wonderful in a one dog home!!!!

Rescue Me ID: 14-02-05-00656Nina (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Male Dogs Only, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Approx DOB: 3/2007 Approx Weight: 55+ lbs. Adoption Fee: $150 includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! Nina is a very nice girl in need of a family to love her! Her mother was full bred Rottweiler and we think her dad was a Shar Pei mix. She is 55 pounds of pure love! She is intelligent and loves people of all ages! Nina can be very dominant with other dogs and doesn't do well with other femlaes so she would do best as a only dog or with a male dog that can hold their own when playing with her.....she plays rough ! She is housetrained and is very well behaved in the house. She does ... (Read More)have a lot of energy so she needs a family who will exercise her and give her a lot of play time! She would make a all around GREAT family dog since she is used to being with her family. She is being displaced because her family is having to move to an apartment. She has a very beautiful, uniquely colored coat! Nina is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, heart worm tested negative and on preventatives, micro chipped. If you are interested in giving Nina a great home, please fill out the application from our website at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on 'Adopt A Dog'. Once we receive that, one of us will be in touch as quickly as possible! Thank you so much for your interest in Nina! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Missouri

This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
