Rottweiler    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Strikingly handsome 1 & %BD -2 year old male pure bred Rottweiler. He is friendly and his handling is fine. He is just at the age where he's feeling his oats. At 13-16 months old that's when male Rottweilers go into their juvenile stage leading up to adulthood and need to learn their boundries. He was fine with the raw hide and toy although not overly interested in them. He was ok with the dogs outside but a bit overly enthusiastic though. Sits on command for a treat and takes it gently. But he is Food Aggressive so he'd need to work with a trainer on that problem. Should only be adopted to an experienced large dog handler and needs ... (Read More)training. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-06-16-00597Lucy (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Lucy is a highly intelligent, loyal and cuddly lap dog. She adores her masters and is very submissive to them. Her obedience to commands is worth noting and she is fully house broken. She knows: sit, stay, heal, paw, lie down, take a bow, go pee, out and inside. She is also very protective of her home and masters. She does need some socialization to get her used to more dogs. Above all, she is an exceptional dog for adults as she can be a bit too aggressive with small children.

Rescue Me ID: 16-06-16-00592AJ (male)

Rottweiler    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Female Dogs Only, Good with Adult Men Only
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

AJ is a 2 year old purebread Rottweiler. We brought him into our home at age 8 weeks old. He is crate and leash trained, up to date on all vaccines, neutered, and house trained. Although AJ was raised in a home with many children and a female dog, he would do better in a home without children. He is generally a mild tempered dog, but he had a few aggressive/unpredictable moments. AJ belongs in a home with an experienced male dog owner and NO children. AJ is obedient to his dominant male master, loves to snuggle and lean up against people. This dog is VERY loved, and we are only considering serious inquiries only. Please EMAIL me ... Animal ID: 10336Rocis (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed

This sweet Rottie/Lab Senior looks so sad in her kennel. And rightly so she was left here at 10 years old by her owner. She comes out of her kennel very quiet and sad but once you take her outside and show her you are interested in her, and care about her she becomes a different dog, she becomes so happy, socialable, loves people and she does a little happy dance. She is very people focused and wants to engage with you and wants to play. She definitely need's some grooming, she didn't look like anyone gave her a bath in a long time. She sits for a treat, and does downs. She walks real nice on the lead. She released the raw hide when asked, ... (Read More)had a good food test and was good with the dogs she met outside. Her real love though is people. And she is so anxious for someone to meet her and be her friend and care about her and she will be your best buddie in return. (Less)

Rottweiler    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Very lovable, well trained to hand and verbal commands. Heels on demand. Fears squirt bottle. Plays soccer (dribbles and plays well) AMAZING with children, especially babies. Unaltered, so has a dominance issue with other unaltered male dogs. Would need proper training with other dogs. (Lived with fixed GSD with minor bouts, most likely started by the GSD). He likes to put himself to bed at bedtime and sleep in, especially in cold weather. He kind of wanted to eat my cat, so I'd suggest no cats, or good training. Has a cherry eye that has never been addressed. Up to date on shots as of (July 2014) but unfortunately doesn't have record. ... (Read More)Likes to mark trees, and snores. Loves bones and riding in the front seat. Needs to be rehomed due to housing issues and lack of availability to be loved properly (long work hours). (Less)
