    Velvet is guessed as a 1 yr old doberman/rottweiler mix. This sweetheart is a big goof and full of games. In so many ways she makes us laugh. She has very few manners but we're working on that, especially the no jumping one! But she just wants to play and be involved. She loves playing with the other dogs and seems content with whatever the current happenings are. She's gorgeous and just happy to be here, stretching her legs and wrestling with all of her playmates. She loves car rides too!     Gwendolyn came to rescue pregnant and had 9 healthy puppies on March 22nd. They will be available for adoption in June and applications are welcome now to hold the puppy until ready for adoption. They will be exposed to children, other dogs, and cats prior to adoption and fully vetted. Their mother is a gorgeous 80 lb Rottweiler but father(s) are completely unknown.     Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in North Dakota if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
