|Rescue Me ID: 18-05-24-00190Boeman (male)|
Boeman is 3 years old. He loves attention and to be close to you. I would like him to go to a home that is able to spend as much time with him as possible. He gets along with other dogs and people and kids just fine. He's very intelligent. He needs to be with an experienced handler. Only because that adopter needs to understand the characteristics of a Rottweiler. He is not for sale meaning I only want to find a good home and family for him. That I would prefer to be in driving distance.

|Rescue Me ID: 18-04-21-00234Diesel (male)|
he's very lovable, very clingy, needs a lot of attention but does okay at home by himself for a few hours. can't be around kids cause he doesn't understand how big he is and tends to play too rough and knocks them over. great with all animals, great with car rides. only reason i have to get rid of him is because i just had a baby and he's too big and clumsy and hyper. he is very active, he loves walks but pulls sometimes. he doesn't potty in the house unless he's left too long. does fine outside or inside crate. in all he's a wonderful dog and it really breaks my heart, i would love to find an owner that i could keep in contact with and still be able to see him. only reason i'm asking a fee is so i know you're serious and going to actually take care of him. he can be very sassy, he has a wonderful personality. doesn't like yelling. gets too excited if you run and tries to chase you. he doesn't like rough housing or play fighting, he takes it seriously. his full name is diesel bailey(yes he has a middle name) and fatty mcgee is his nickname. |Rescue Me ID: 18-04-19-00363Buddy (male)|
Approximately 80-85 lbs. Heavily muscled and very strong. He is not neutered Has a sweet, loving personality, but apparently was not socialized. It was reported to me that he was tied up all the time, and neglected. He has food issues(he thinks anything that you have in your hands is food)and he tries to get it. He would be a great dog with some training. As I am a senior citizen I am not able to take proper care of him. He needs more room to run and proper care.

|Rescue Me ID: 18-03-20-00156Walter (male)|
Don't let those wrinkles fool you - Walter is mix of energy and pure silliness. His foster family believes Walter (aka Wally, Wallace, Walnut, Walla-Walla Bing Bong, Wallaford, and sometimes it's 'REALLY WALTER?!?') is a mix of several different breeds that would probably include Boxer, a few from the Terrier group, Rottweiler and some other type of herding breed. He is 1-2 years old, weighs about 55 pounds. Walter gets along with other dogs (but can be irritating to older/calmer dogs) and would do best in a home with younger, more active dogs that are comparable to him in size or bigger. He has not been tested with cats. Walter is still very puppy-like in that he will still mouth/bite hands in play and jumps up so I would not recommend young children (under the age of 10 - or older if not dog savvy). He is a power chewer, with very powerful jaws - but usually only with his toys (and plastic bottles/jugs). He is crate trained but has had the run of the house with 4 of his foster siblings for 3 weeks now and has had NO issues. He is housebroken and trained on an invisible fence. He knows sit, shake, lay-down, come, and we are working on stay. He loves to play fetch and has a vertical jump of about 5 feet (as of right now, with no training). He is very smart and would be great trained in agility. He needs to work on leash manners and still wants to play non-stop like a puppy. Walter needs an owner who is the Alpha pack leader, however, Walter is NOT alpha with other dogs (the last 7 weeks in his foster home he has been submissive with his 4 foster siblings - 2 males and 2 females). Walter is located in a foster home near Bloomsburg, PA. If you are interested in meeting Walter, you must be willing to travel to his foster home. WALTER is neutered, heartworm negative, microchipped and up to date on age appropriate core vaccines. Adoption fee is $350. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. |Animal ID: Jemma2017Jemma (female)|
Jemma has lived with a family, including children, adults, dogs and cats. However; a home as an only pet and adults is preferred. We will not adopt Jemma to a home with another female dog. If it is a home with a male dog, it may be considered, contingent upon the behavior of the dog and family, and interaction with Jemma. There are no known health issues. Jemma is up to date with vaccinations and microchipped. She is housetrained, crate trained, and does know some obedience instructions. Of course we encourage the new family to attend an obedience class with Jemma. Jemma is five years old. Jemma would love to have her own home. She loves to play catch, to go for walks, and playing with puzzle toys. If you are seriously interested in providing her with that, please contact us for an application. (Less)

|PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Pennsylvania|
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
