Rescue Me ID: 16-04-10-00194chop (male)
Chop has been a great dog. He loves hikes and playing fetch(hes not too good at letting you have the stick back though) He is 2.5 years old and neutered. Up to date on shots (appointment on 4/12 for this years rabies shot) i regrettably have to find this dog a home. We have an 8 month old baby who chop is TOO overly excited to get to. i am unsure as to his intentions but feel it is best for the babys safety if he were to find a new home with people who love and care for him. we will be conducting background checks as we would like to see chop in a great home. thank you!

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-03-00382King (male)
King is an almost 3 year old neutered male Rottie. We believe he is the result of a puppy mill as he is missing a toe and has some food aggression issues. Will be best in a calm home environment with young adults and up. I've had him since he is a puppy and he is well trained and intelligent. Requires a walk daily and someone with a bit of patience mixed with loving reinforcement. Up to date on all shots and is fed a grain free diet (taste of the wild). A background check will be conducted as I'm seeking a safe, loving home for him.

Happy, high energy dog but unpredictable. Can be food aggressive if food is something new, other than his regular dog food. No cats! Unpredictable with strangers. Fine with children and adults within his home though. Around many female dogs of all sizes but became aggressive with a male dog his size. IMO Best in a secure home without cats and children.

Rescue Me ID: 16-02-24-00437Ted (male)
No matter how you want to describe Ted's coat--a rich mocha color or perhaps a smoky brown with silver highlights, Ted is a stunningly handsome, athletic dog. Ted landed at the shelter because his owner moved and was required to keep her dogs in an outside kennel. She wanted a better life for them than that, especially during the winter, so she surrendered Ted and his best pal Marley to Tri-County. At the shelter Ted is friendly and well behaved; his favorite activity is playing chase and tag in the big back yard with Marley, the blonde beauty he was surrendered with. Together they are more striking than a Hollywood couple, and loads more fun to watch than a TV, computer, or movie screen as they whirl around and chase each other in the big back yard. Since Ted is a strong, young dog (about 2 years old), he would probably do best in a home without small children. To meet Ted or to audition him for a role in your personal reality show, contact Tri-County Animal Rescue Center on Facebook, or call 814-918-2032, or email: contactus@Tricounty-arc.org (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Pennsylvania
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
