As much as I hate to be doing this I am looking to re-home my 7 year old female Rottie. She is a very loving and energetic dog who has been raised with my children and other dogs, I have to add she does not like cats at all for some reason never has!!! Due to recent events I have to get rid of her but only willing to do so to a loving home with room for her to run, play and exercise. She is an inside dogs and sleeps in a crate at night with no problems at all, she has been fixed which did make her put on some weight and she is very well house trained. He has resided with a cat and another female dog since birth; therefore, he is good with other animals. He has no issues with children or people either. He does however like to jump on people. Sparky is a 3 year old, un-neutured Rottweiler/Boxer mix. He is perfectly crate trained and knows many basic commands. He is approximately 130-150 lbs (best guest). He definetely needs more socialization and should probally be the only dog. He does not get along with their female Jack Russel, but that can change once he is neutured. He is overall a very good dog that loves attention and needs a loving family. A 'friend' of his current owner lost his home, so he asked for them to keep Sparky for a few weeks. Jaxon is a very loving and high energy Rottweiler. He loves EVERYONE!! Including children. He listens better when a male is giving orders, and responds to the basic commands sit, stay, & lay down. Brandy was a shelter favorite... a cuddler and a snuggler. She has likewise been an easy guest in the private boarding kennel where she is staying. Brandy had a chance at a foster home, but for some reason did not like the resident dog. We are thinking she may be dog selective so a dog meet is necessary. Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
