Rescue Me ID: 15-10-17-00272Bruno (male)
Bruno is nine months old and has great obedience training and excellent service dog strength and intelligence. His mom is a Bullmastiff/Rottweiler mix and his dad is a purebred Bullmastiff. Bruno is already taller than me, I'm 5'8' and he can put his front legs on my shoulders and look down at me. He is going to be huge! I suspect well north of 160 lbs. He is about 130 now and has a lot of growing left to do. He walks for moles with me without a leash. He has never walked on a leash and listens very well to my commands. I am looking for a home for his sister, Suqa, too. I have raised and trained dogs since I was a young boy. I always had hunting dogs then went into bigger service dogs once in the military. These dogs are very strong and will need a loving and easy environment. They only need to know what is expected of them and they willingly oblige as they know I have their best interests at heart. Diamond is 3 years old, she currently lives with 5 children and 2 dogs. She is good with large dogs, she prefers humans over other animals. She does not like to be left alone. Diamond would be best suited in a family with no other dogs, and a human that can give her a lot of attention. Please call or email for more information and pictures.

Rescue Me ID: 15-09-15-00606Bruno (male)
Hi there. My name is Bruno. I'm a Rottweiler/Lab mix. While in a shelter a nice woman came to visit me, spent time with me and gave me treats. After being there awhile I was lucky enough to get adopted to what I thought was my furever home. But sadly, about a year later, my new dad died and I was left wondering what was going to happen to me. Next thing I knew, my old friend from the shelter showed up and saved me. I thought I would never see her again but life is funny sometimes and I am currently living with her. But unfortunately this has to be temporary. See, I'm not fond of other dogs or cats and she has both. She loves me way too much to put me back in a scary loud shelter so we're trying really hard to make it work but I need to be the only four legged family member. A little about me: I love to go for walks and do well on a leash and will even get it and take it to the door for you. I'm getting used to passing dogs and cats without too much anxiety but I still don't want them too close. I love all people I meet including kids. But I am a pretty big boy who can get excited so older kids who are not easily knocked down are better just to be cautious. Although I'm about 6 years old I still have a lot energy. I like to play with my stuffies and do zoomies in my fenced in yard. I sit nicely and shake when asked and I'm working on some other commands too. If I understand what your asking I'll pretty much do anything for a treat and to make you happy. I also love to just snuggle on the couch and watch TV with my people. I am a very happy boy and content where I am living but there's something missing because I know this isn't truly my home. When I go to sleep at night with my young friend I dream of a family of my own. Can you please make that dream come true? I promise I won't disappoint you. Please contact Melissa at email@example.com for a chance to meet me. Thank you. Love, Bruno (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-08-21-00215Clyde (male)
please welcome Clyde to The arms of Justice Rescue. Crash and Knuckles spent days investigating and then moved in for the rescue. Clyde is a super happy 9 month old Rottie Mix puppy. He is a big ball of mush and loves to get petted and belly rubs. Ya see Clyde was not in a good place, and his neck was even torn up from a tie lead. He has not had one accident in his kennel.. Everyone, lets give Clyde the love and lets get him into a home. He seems to like other dogs and doesnt seem to hate cats. Clyde needs basic training and if you adopt Clyde we can help with that. please apply at www.justice-rescue.com. thanks WOLF

Animal ID: 2015-030Reilly (female)
Hi there...my name is Reilly. No you don't need to grab your glasses, I'm not a Doberman...I am a Rottweiler!! I caught the attention of the FDR Northeastern Coordinator via a Craigslist ad in our own area. I am approximately 10 months old, cute as a button and all puppy. I met a nice veterinarian today at Community Veterinary Practice who gave me a check up, a few pokes to update my vaccines. I am spayed, micro-chipped and have my Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella, Lyme and Lepto vaccines, and I am looking for a 'Fureverhome'. I know I'm not the breed most of you have come to the FDR page to adopt, however I too would like to be a Velcro dog, I was not socialized as a puppy and will need positive reinforcement training and she will need continued training meeting and greeting and to help her work through her fear of some men. If interested in adopting Reilly, please send your request for an adoption application to FureverhomesDobermanRescue@outlook.com. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Pennsylvania
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
