Rescue Me ID: 16-06-15-00655Rosco (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Very High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Abused/Neglected,
 Aggressive, Fearful/Anxious

Rosco is very unpredictable. He is good with my other dogs and cats. He knocks children over, so I wouldn't recomend a home with them. He like females rather than males, he cowers around males. I honestly think rosco was abused at his previous home because when I brought him home he was aggressive and fearful now he is very hyper and dominant. If someone were to pick him up I would have to take him out of my home because he's extremely territorial of his property. I would rather someone who knows about his breed to adopt him. If u have any questions feel free to contact me

Rottweiler    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

The owner of this animal went into the hospital with a terminal heart problem and can no longer care for him. He needs work with someone who can be patient with him and does not show him any fear. He needs a stern handler who can show him who is the boss to teach him that growling and showing his teeth at anyone even know he has not bitten anyone yet it is not acceptable behavior for a family to want him. We can no longer keep him. We have kept him while I was off of work but and going back to work and there is no one to care for him while me and my husband are out of the home for 16+ hours a day. If I cant find someone to take him I ... (Read More)will take him to the SPCA but I am afraid they will put him down. PLEASE HELP. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-05-14-00400Cato (male)

Rottweiler    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Personality: Very High Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current, Aggressive

Cato is 1.5 years old and lives in Fishtown, PA. He is incredibly affectionate with my wife and I, but extremely aggressive with everyone else. We also have a 5 year old female rottie who Cato loves, but he is not good with other animals. He does have a bite history. As a puppy, we took him to training and socialization classes. He was great with other humans and animals until about 8 months of age. He needs rehabilitation which we unfortunately cannot provide him with. We are hoping that someone with the resources to help him can give him a second chance..

Rescue Me ID: 16-04-28-00375BEAR (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Very High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This high-energy Rottie/Lab mix needs an active home and probably would benefit from a fenced-in area. He is super rambunctious but a total love--no aggression, just cannot hold his licker! Bear needs some training and is very strong on lead but is a lover, not a fighter! Bear was neutered recently and has calmed down a bit. He keeps his kennel clean so we think he has house training.
