Rescue Me ID: 15-09-15-00606Bruno (male)
Bruno is 5-6 year old Rottie/Lab mix. His owner recently passed away and he was taken in by a friend who did not want to see the love end up in a shelter. He is very human friendly, loves kids but would do best as the only pet. If you would like a lovable companion to snuggle with this happy boy is for you. The listed adoption fee is simply to regain a small amount of expenses to get him vetted and microchipped.

Rescue Me ID: 15-09-03-00541Jagger (male)
Jagger has been raised since he was a puppy by the same family. In recent years he has become more aggressive and has bitten strange men that have entered the property unannounced. He is great with his dog-sister but has nipped at other dogs if not properly introduced. He is very loyal but needs a calm and composed leader with plenty of time for exercise.

Rescue Me ID: 15-09-02-00630Amora (female)
Absolutely amazing dog. Only issue is with cats. I adopted her from a family who's grandfather had to be put in a nursing home. She had free run of large wooded area and when grandfather went to home there was no one living there.Family members came and fed she and another black lab. I adopted her one because she was so gentle and also due to the fact I was concerned of her safety running free. She is perfect in every way except has no socialization with cats. Thus I am concerned for my cat's safety and also do not want to put any restraints on Amora or my cat. Additional info....I have updated all her vaccinations...groomed her...she lives everyone she comes in contact with...does not pull when walking unless a squirrel is in sight. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-08-21-00215Clyde (male)
please welcome Clyde to The arms of Justice Rescue. Crash and Knuckles spent days investigating and then moved in for the rescue. Clyde is a super happy 9 month old Rottie Mix puppy. He is a big ball of mush and loves to get petted and belly rubs. Ya see Clyde was not in a good place, and his neck was even torn up from a tie lead. He has not had one accident in his kennel.. Everyone, lets give Clyde the love and lets get him into a home. He seems to like other dogs and doesnt seem to hate cats. Clyde needs basic training and if you adopt Clyde we can help with that. please apply at www.justice-rescue.com. thanks WOLF

Animal ID: 2015-030Reilly (female)
Hi there...my name is Reilly. No you don't need to grab your glasses, I'm not a Doberman...I am a Rottweiler!! I caught the attention of the FDR Northeastern Coordinator via a Craigslist ad in our own area. I am approximately 6 months old, cute as a button and all puppy. I met a nice veterinarian today at Community Veterinary Practice who gave me a check up, a few pokes to update my vaccines, which I didn't even notice because I was focused on the treats. I am scheduled to be spayed, microchipped and will finish up my Lyme/Lepto, and booster distemper in the next two weeks and then I'll be looking for a 'Fureverhome'. I know I'm not the breed most of you have come to the FDR page to adopt, however I too would like to be a Velcro dog. If interested in adopting Reilly, please send your request for an adoption application to FureverhomesDobermanRescue@outlook.com. (Less)

Animal ID: ACEACE (male)
Ace is a stunning 2 year old rottweiler, neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. He is an energetic boy and very people friendly. He has been working on social skills since coming to foster care, and has learned not to jump on people, and is doing much better on leash. He knows sit, down, paw and no. He is housebroken and crate trained. Ace is friendly with other dogs, but still needs work on his doggie social skills and greets other dogs with a little too much enthusiasm, so would probably do best as an only dog in the home. He is very much the lap dog, and will follow you around the house or lay at your feet, or in your lap, if allowed! He would thrive in a home with a fenced yard, so he can get the exercise he needs, or with an active family. He would be best in a home without small children. He so wants a forever home where he will have more attention and exercise, could that be you? Ace is being fostered in Westmoreland County. |PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Pennsylvania|
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
