Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I'm SYLVAR, a 3-year-old, 75 lb Rottie mix who was found as a stray in Philly. I know I'm a big girl, but I'm really just a softie. One look at my soft brown eyes and you can tell all I want to do is love and be loved. Humans say I'm super affectionate. Did you see my wiggly butt? (I have a short tail, so maybe you didn't notice.) I love big dogs, I'm housebroken, and I walk well on my leash. I'd love to live in a calm and loving home where I can show you what a big smoosh I am. I'm SYLVAR. Come get me! SYLVAR is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. Adoption fee is $325. Please note that training is highly ... (Read More)recommended for all young dogs. As with all rescue animals, breed determination cannot be validated without genetic testing. Visit WWW.LULUSRESCUE.ORG and click on the ADOPT tab for an overview of Lulu's Rescue adoption process. Thanks for adopting and saving a life -- you are SYLVAR'S hero! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-05-20-00273Baloo (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Baloo is a one year old Rottweiler/Corgi mix who looks like a small Rottweiler on short Corgi legs. Like his Jungle Book namesake, Baloo likes goofing off, having his back scratched, and eating anything except honey, nuts, and berries; like his Jungle Book namesake Baloo does not like being called fat, getting his bottom bitten, being teased by monkeys, or being alone. Because life so far has been topsy-turvy for this quirky looking 'special edition' dog, Baloo needs time to trust. No small children please. Rottweiler Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Meet this big hunk of love Bozz. Bozz is what we believe a rottie / Doberman mix. He is HUGE! Tipping the scales at a little over 120lbs and if he stood on his hind legs would be over 6 ft tall! He is going to need a foster or adopter that is experienced in handling such a powerful dog. Bozz is approx 1 year old. Bozz came to us from a shelter in New Jersey when they realized his size was just not good for the shelter life. Bozz LOVES people, there is nothing greater to him than snuggling up with his person on the couch (he really has no idea how big he is!) His foster family had hopes of keeping him but Bozz and the resident male dog just ... (Read More)can't seem to make friends. Bozz is already neutered and fully vetted! He just needs to continue some training. If you are within 2 hours of the Lehigh Valley, PA area and would like to adopt Bozz, please visit our website at www.outcastrescue.com (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-15-00313Tank (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Tank is 2 yrs 4 months. His DOB is 10/17/14. He has lived with the same family since he was 8 weeks old. Tank is not neutered, but will be utd on shots. Contract must be signed at adoption indicating intent to neuter. Tank is approximately 80lbs, mainly black and tan, with long tail and ears that fold over. He has no known health problems and is in excellent physical shape. He knows many commands including sit, lay down, fives, stay, in your crate, go to bed, up, etc. Tank is an active dog that enjoys running and fetch, so a large space for him to run is preferred. He does pull on a leash, so he may require someone to teach him to walk ... (Read More)properly. Tank becomes overly excited around other animals, and though he has never harmed another animal, it is recommended that he be an only pet. Tank would make a great companion for someone living alone that needs protection and to be doted on. He likes both men and women but tends to prefer women. Tank does best with older children ages 8 and up, because of his energy level and size. He loves to cuddle and will sleep quietly beside you at night. He is crate trained when unattended during the day, and sleeps outside of the crate on blankets at night if accompanied by his human. While Tank is very sweet and affectionate, it is recommended that he be crated with any food or edible treats, as he understandably does not like these things taken from him or touched. Several items will be provided for free to help maintain his upkeep and care. These items include crate, leash, two collars, toys, sweater, toothbrush and toothpaste, nail clippers, food and water bowls. A home visit is required, and he must meet all members of your family before a decision will be made. PERMANENT FUREVER APPLICANTS ONLY - Tank bonds strongly with his owner. He will not do well as a temporary pet or foster. He is in no danger at this time and careful consideration will be made to all applicants. (Less)

Animal ID: Brindle Buddies-Jethro 2-13-17JETHRO (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Jethro is up for adoption again- turns out he does suffer significant separation anxiety. He will need someone who can work with him and maybe not leave him alone for long periods of time, or make sure that he has playmates or something to do. Jethro is just turning 3yrs old, male Rottie/GSD mix. Great with other dogs and cats, upon proper introductions. He is NOT good with children. So NO CHILDREN under 16yrs old. He is 115lbs, so he is a BIG Boy. He is a protective dog of his family, so you must have German Shepherd or Rottie experience. He is with Brindle Buddies Rescue, a 501c. Please Contact Brittney, or email me for a ... (Read More)Pre-Adoption Questionnaire. Here is her info on him: ************* This handsome young man is still waiting for a home to call his own. He may weigh in at 115 pounds, but that is all pure love. Jethro's number one all time favorite thing to do is cuddle. Sure, he enjoys playing with toys and playing with friends, but those come in second and third. His ideal home would be a family who is familiar with Rotties and Shepherds because he does get protective of his owner, but overall is very good with meeting people. Sadly, he does need a home with either no kids or kids over 16 yrs of age. Jethro is in a foster home with other dogs, but sometimes doesn't meet other dogs great when on leash. His birthday is right around the corner and he will be 3 yrs old. Jethro is housebroken, we discovered that he does suffer separation anxiety- so please NO LONG UNATTENDED DAYS. We had not had this issue with him prior to his adoption. Please contact Brittney at 610-533-4141.*********** (Less)

Roxy and Zeus left and right in the picture are both rescues . Zeus has been with me for 8 years and Roxy for 4 years. I have found myself needing to downsize to a no pet location. This is very difficult for me so I will have to see where they are going as a bonded pair and what their lifestyle will be like. I never leave them for more than 4 hours at a time. They are both fixed and have all shots . Nothing destructive in either of their natures Very loyal and affectionate dogs that require daily assurance of affection from their owner call me for more details thanks you 610 388 1782

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Pennsylvania
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Pennsylvania if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
