Rescue Me ID: 15-07-25-00527Dawn (female)
Dawn is loving, but very shy. We believe she would be fine in any home, but she may do best in a one on one environment. One where she can be the center of attention and be given the opportunity to come out of her shell. Dawn has longer hair, and is not nearly as big as a purebred rotty, the coloring seemed similar to me.

Rescue Me ID: 15-07-22-00406Kane (male)
Kane is a sweet baby once you get to know him. He likes women Beterm than men but will warm up to a man. He lives to play and lay all over you. We adoped him recently, and he's warned up to my son who is 10, but not to my 4 year old. He'd never been around small children before so it was an adjustment for him but I'm not willing to take any chances with my daughter. She's autistic and can sometimes be aggressive. He needs patience and love. He is house broken and leash trained but will pull you if you let him. He's lovinh and playful. Does great in places like pet smart, but he's afraid of lightening so he'll want to be pet and cuddled in a storm. I hate to let him go, but he just had t warned up to my little one. He needs a lot of love and will return the affection. (Less)

Lucky is a sweet boy who loves to run and play. He needs lots of space to run, and we no longer have a fenced in backyard. He is good with other dogs, cats and children. He is sweet and loving, too. Wonderful dog!

Rescue Me ID: 15-03-14-00139She Baby (female)
This beautiful girl came into the shelter pregnant and heartworm positive. She is currently undergoing her heartworm treatment and is looking for her forever home. She was in a foster home while caring for her babies and now in a long term foster home to undergo her treatment. Are you her forever home?

Rescue Me ID: 15-02-15-00042Abilene (female)
Abilene is a very sweet Rottie girl. She is a young girl around a year or so old. She's currently undergoing treatment for heartworms and will be available for adoption once she has completed that treatment. She loves attention and likes to play. She is crate trained and leash trained, though she still pulls a bit when walking (but we are working on that). Abilene is a smart girl and knows some commands and is still working on others. Though she currently lives with an 11 year old and has done very well with a 2 year old, she would probably do better with a family with no small children due to her size and level of playfulness. She is very curious about cats and wants to chase them but it is not known what she would do if she were allowed to catch up with one. She shows no food aggression with humans, but is possessive of her food with other animals (growls only) so it is recommended to feed her separately where she can enjoy her food alone. She is a prissy girl, happy all the time and wags her whole body. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in South Carolina
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
