There was a man living in an abandoned shack in the woods in North Carolina. A shelter had a place for him. He wouldn't go because he couldn't take his dog with him. Please stop a minute and let that sink in. We could do something about it! The man, David, was willing to get the help he needed if someone else was willing to help the dog David had found roaming in the woods a year ago. WE were that someone! I contacted his local outreach person and offered to drive to Charlotte. I knew absolutely nothing about this dog named Cesar. But I knew what needed to be done. We had a chance to change TWO lives!!! Remember...for the animals, their ... (Read More)humans, and their Creator. What do you think their Creator expected from us now that we knew? I had no idea what we would do with Cesar after I picked him up, but I had to go. I didn't see this as an option. It was a requirement of faith. And we did it! Cesar has been in boarding, he's been in a foster home, and he's been back in boarding again with a bill that's quickly adding up at $25/day. We desperately need a FOSTER or FOREVER home for this boy. He's house broken, crate trained, and gets along with all furries and non-furries alike. He would love a fenced yard and a place to call home. Cesar is a wonderful boy who came a long way...let's not let him down. All supplies are provided for fosters. You just fill out an application, then supply the love. For adopters, the process is just as simple: an application, home visit with Cesar, foster trial period, and minimum $75 donation to adopt. Cesar is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, micro chipped, and heartworm negative! He's ready! :) Email hoovesandpaws@live.com, call or text 864-327-7772, or message us on Facebook. Rescue Me ID: 15-05-26-00111Guinness (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Guinness is a loving people dog who needs to be in an only animal home. She is house and crate trained, and loves to cuddle and give kisses. She is a little timid with new people, but has never been aggressive with humans. She enjoys her space and can live in a place with or without a yard. Sometimes she likes to get her exercise by chasing squirrels, so a fenced yard or leashed walks would be best for her. She is sweet and loving, but unfortunately we can no longer keep her.

I am moving into a rental home and can't find anyone who will rent to me with this breed. She is a great dog and very loyal. It kills me that people judge animals on breed alone. I have been renting for several years since I went through a very bad divorce and I have made many scarifices to keep her and have never had any problems but I can't find anyone that will work with me this time and the owner where I'm renting now is selling the property and I have no choice but to move.Alpha had a torn ACL and had surgery to repair this but she still favors her right back leg to some degree. She is the smartest animal I have ever owned and I know if ... (Read More)someone rescues her they will love her as much as I do. Please help! I do have her papers and she is micro chipped. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in South Carolina
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in South Carolina if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
