CoCo is an amazingly loving beautiful baby girl. She is approximately 1 year old. She enjoys playing and a good back scratching. She gets along great with her foster sister Bear Bear. She hates lawnmowers and rakes. LOL. I would not suggest really small kids as she is a stout little girl at 50 lbs. If you are interested please email us for an application.

Hello there! My name is Cato and I am a handsome Rottweiler mix. Yes, I am handsome! The other pups in my litter say that I'm bragging, but facts are facts! And the facts are that I am extremely good looking! My birthday is 10-22-16 so I'm still just a puppy. As of 4-3-17, I weigh approximately 30 pounds, but I still have some more growing to do. My litter mates and I were taken in taken in by a wonderful lady who wanted to make sure that we were spayed or neutered and adopted by fantastic families. She contacted RARE and asked if they would help us find homes. They were very nice and said they would be glad to help us. I am a sweet and friendly boy and full of puppy fun. I can't wait to find my forever home. I promise to give my new family all the love that is in my heart. I know they are out there; I just need some help finding them. So if you see anyone looking for a boy like me, please let them know I'm waiting right here for them. If they will contact RARE today, they can find out how to make me part of their family. My adoption fee is $225.00. **An application and home visit are required. Transport can potentially be arranged to approved homes. Please ask us for more information if you are not in Tennessee** **All of our pets are or will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines and micro-chipped prior to adoption. This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $175 if picked up in TN, $225 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Simply adoring is our handsome hunk Adonis! He will absolutely make you melt with his sleek black and tan coat and his caring copper eyes! Adonis is a 1 year old, 85 pound Rottweiler mix who is full of love from the tip of his neat nose to the end of his long tail. His favorite thing in the whole world is to have you play fetch with him, he will go until his tongue is dragging. Adonis loves going on rides in the car and charms all of the passersby, he is a friendly dude who has not met a stranger. He wants to be an only pet, as he prefers to be top dog in his home and thinks cats are for chasing. Adonis would be a great dog for anyone who loves Rotties and wants a fun-loving, devoted companion. He's very affectionate and loves to show you by giving you a full body hug! A family with a fenced yard and familiar with his breed and open to continuing his education would be preferred, we'd even suggest a training program to get him up to speed, as he is one smart boy, and would enjoy it. He is already housetrained and is ready to learn more tricks. We think Adonis is a terrific dog, who would simply soar in a perfect forever home. We hope you will fall as hard for this hunk as we have, and apply to adopt him today! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-12-06-00665Highway - Yukon (male)
Hi all my name is Highway. I am a 3 year old Rottweiler mix. I weigh about 80 pounds and I am full grown. I bet you are wondering how I got the name Highway aren't you? My owner dumped me on the side of a deserted highway with my bag of belongings. It was freezing rain and I sat there all day waiting for them to come back. This nice man had seen me that morning on his way to work and when he saw me still sitting there on his way home he stopped to check on me. I was so cold and my fur was starting to freeze. I just couldn't wait any more so I jumped in his truck and off to his house we went. Man did I get lucky because the man that found me is a foster and well here I am safe and looking for a new family. My foster mom and dad adore me but the want to save more dogs just like me so I need you. I am a great dog! I am house broken, I do not need a crate, I am the perfect energy level and I love other dogs, cats and I will protect your children from all harm. I love children, they like to play and always give me treats. Did I mention how much I love treats? Are your feet cold? if so I will snuggle them for you if you want me to. I love to snuggle and get lots of belly rubs. Did I mention how much I love treats? I also love going for car rides. See I am perfect so please visit www.soardoggyrescue.org to fill out an application for me. Love, Highway (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-11-03-00239Molly (female)
Are you looking for a loyal and true best friend, never too busy to cuddle? Meet Molly; a 6 yr. old female Rottweiler Mix who was abandoned at an animal shelter near Winston Salem, NC. Molly had been severely neglected; in addition to being sick with various illnesses, she was emaciated and heartworm positive. Molly's time was up that day. Her condition and appearance made her unadoptable, and the shelter was out of room; sadly, she found herself first on 'The List.' Molly was only hours from being euthanized when SSRR rescued her. Life has changed for this very sweet, loving girl. Molly loves being taken care of by her Foster Dad. He plays fetch with her, and she gets lots of love and attention. Her favorite position is cuddling while they watch ball games together... and she never talks during the kickoff or important plays!! Molly just loves hanging out with her human! Molly is a survivor! She has been treated for heartworms, spayed, and is now healthy and ready for her forever home and family. She is house-trained and crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Molly has been through so much at the hands of those she had trusted to take care of her; yet, she is very friendly to everyone and loves to give kisses. Despite her past, Molly still loves people and wants her very own family. This sweetheart will melt your heart the moment you meet her. If you want unconditional love, this little lady is your match. Molly does well with children and male dogs (when introduced slowly); no cats. A fenced yard is a requirement; no underground fencing. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-05-31-00079Sammie (male)
Sammie, or as we call her, Sam, is a spirited girl at 16 months old. She's made great strides in a year, from being scared of everything to being more interested in the big world. She's a happy, loving girl who loves to play and run with her dog companions. She likes having a companion dog to go outside with and rough and tumble with. She has become the typical teenager, talking back to her humans when she feels she has something to say. Her 'roo-roos' are comical and it's hard not to laugh at her vocalizations. She also likes to grab you with her paw to get your attention, meaning she's trying to tell you something. Sam has been learning manners and sits nicely, making eye contact, for her meals and treats. Still in need of some leash training, she wants to pull and wander a bit on walks. She likes her walks, and rides in the car quite nicely. Still a bit shy in meeting strangers, she will warm up to them if they offer her a treat. Sam is house trained and kennel trained and is quite willing to go into her kennel with just a 'kennel up' command, but she really likes a peanut butter stuffed Kong, too. She weighs 48 pounds and will probably not get any bigger. She does well with small and large dogs and, though still interested in cats, does not hurt them other than to want to mouth them. A simple 'leave it' command works to curb her interest. Sam is well-mannered and has learned many commands. All she needs now is someone to call her own. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Tennessee
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
