Nala is looking for a new forever home. Her owner unfortunately is no longer able to take care of her. She's very sweet, but has very high energy so she would need a large yard. She is spayed, house and kennel trained. She is microchipped and good with other animals and children. Owner was told that she was full blooded when she purchased her, but is unsure whether or not that is true.

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Puppy

Personality: High Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $175 if picked up in TN, $225 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Simply adoring is our handsome hunk Adonis! He will absolutely make you melt with his sleek bi-color coat and his cool and caring copper eyes! Adonis is a 1 year old, 85 pound Rottweiler who might grow some yet, so he will be an x-large guy, but full of love from the tip of his neat nose to the ends of his pretty paws. Adonis loves going on rides in the car and charms all of the passers by, he is an adult friendly dude who does not meet a stranger. He would have to be an only pet, as he prefers to be top dog in his home. ... (Read More)Adonis would be a great dog for anyone with the time to give him all the love and affection he deserves. He is still in need of a little training - his favorite thing is to jump up and give full body hugs. A family able to work with him on his canine competencies would be preferred, we'd even suggest a local training program to get him up to speed, as he is one smart breed, and would enjoy it. Adonis would also do best in a home with only older children or teenagers because of his size and energy. We think Adonis is a terrific dog, who would simply soar in a perfect forever home. We hope you will fall as hard for this hunk as we have, and apply to adopt him today! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-09-00251Sasha (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed

This is Sasha. She came to live me when her owner moved away and did not return for her, and the people who were going to take her decided instead to take her to the pound. I took her instead. My mother is 81, has dementia, and has come to live with me a few weeks ago. I've pretty much got all I can handle at this point. Sasha is not receiving the attention she deserves. She's an escape artist. We built her a pen outside and she was continually escaping. Once she gets loose she's gone until she's ready to come back. I had a neighbor complain pretty pointedly and I started worrying about being sued. Right now she is tied, and that's no way ... (Read More)for a dog to live. I'd like to find her a home where she will be loved. She's around 6 or 7 years old... I'm not sure. She's been spayed. She has lived in the house. She's really good with small dogs, as that is all she's known as doggie companions. She generally does well with other dogs if she is slowly introduced. She will bond with the people she sees the most and can be pretty standoffish with people she doesn't know, but she does warm up. She does better with older kids rather than younger, more noisy children. I think she'd do really well on a farm or at a home where she has a well-fenced yard. I've known her to be like a big lap dog. She's rottweiler and...something. I'm guessing around 60 pounds, a medium sized dog. Again, I'm so terribly sad about this and want her to go to reputable people who will love her. (Less)

tus is a red-colored wiith a white blaze on his chest and a few white toes. He is well-nourished with up-to-date vaccines, he has a docked tail but not ears. He was a 17th b'day present for my 21 y/o when he was 17. My mom gave me a female mixed-breed pit-bull, and my younger son got a blue-nosed red-nose mixed pit-bull. My oldest son moved n took his dog with him. He recently moved into an apartment with a 'NO PET' policy, so he brought him back to my house; however, in the time that Brutus was gone, The red nose/blue-nosed pit decided he was the ALPHA_MALE, we have to keep them COMPLETLY APART, he is leash-trained and house-broken and I ...     Brutus is a very sweet dog to humans; unfortunately his 'owner' my son, just had a baby and they're is a no pet clause at his rental, so he brought him to my house where I already have three other dogs, one of which is a mixed red-nose and blue nose pit and they DO NOT get along AT ALL. Since Brutus was gone from this house for several months and while he was gone the red/blue nosed pit decided he was Alpha Male, if they even see each other the fight is on. Brutus is not mean at all to the other two, one of which is his male son, he has NEVER been mean to him or to the female who is his son's mother. He is an extremely loving dog to his ... (Read More)owners, and sweet to any visitors. I just want him in a safe place, somewhere with some land maybe a farm where he can run and play. I LOVE this dog, he's like a family member and I really don't want to give him away but it's no kinda life to be locked up in a bedroom and only get to go outside when I take him on walks. He is leash-trained and house-broken. (Less)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Adult

Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Are you looking for a loyal and true best friend, never too busy to cuddle? Meet Molly; a 6 yr. old female Rottweiler Mix who was abandoned at an animal shelter near Winston Salem, NC. Molly had been severely neglected; in addition to being sick with various illnesses, she was emaciated and heartworm positive. Molly's time was up that day. Her condition and appearance made her unadoptable, and the shelter was out of room; sadly, she found herself first on 'The List.' Molly was only hours from being euthanized when SSRR rescued her. Life has changed for this very sweet, loving girl. Molly loves being taken care of by her Foster Dad. He ... (Read More)plays fetch with her, and she gets lots of love and attention. Her favorite position is cuddling while they watch ball games together... and she never talks during the kickoff or important plays!! Molly just loves hanging out with her human! Molly is a survivor! She has been treated for heartworms, spayed, and is now healthy and ready for her forever home and family. She is house-trained and crate trained, and walks well on a leash. Molly has been through so much at the hands of those she had trusted to take care of her; yet, she is very friendly to everyone and loves to give kisses. Despite her past, Molly still loves people and wants her very own family. This sweetheart will melt your heart the moment you meet her. If you want unconditional love, this little lady is your match. Molly does well with children and male dogs (when introduced slowly); no cats. A fenced yard is a requirement; no underground fencing. (Less)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Puppy

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Vaccinations Current

Sammie, or as we call her, Sam, is a spirited girl at 16 months old. She's made great strides in a year, from being scared of everything to being more interested in the big world. She's a happy, loving girl who loves to play and run with her dog companions. She likes having a companion dog to go outside with and rough and tumble with. She has become the typical teenager, talking back to her humans when she feels she has something to say. Her 'roo-roos' are comical and it's hard not to laugh at her vocalizations. She also likes to grab you with her paw to get your attention, meaning she's trying to tell you something. Sam has been learning ... (Read More)manners and sits nicely, making eye contact, for her meals and treats. Still in need of some leash training, she wants to pull and wander a bit on walks. She likes her walks, and rides in the car quite nicely. Still a bit shy in meeting strangers, she will warm up to them if they offer her a treat. Sam is house trained and kennel trained and is quite willing to go into her kennel with just a 'kennel up' command, but she really likes a peanut butter stuffed Kong, too. She weighs 48 pounds and will probably not get any bigger. She does well with small and large dogs and, though still interested in cats, does not hurt them other than to want to mouth them. A simple 'leave it' command works to curb her interest. Sam is well-mannered and has learned many commands. All she needs now is someone to call her own. (Less)

This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age.
