Rescued from a shelter. He had pneumonia. It took a lot of money to save him. He is looking for a forever home where he can be the center of attention. He loves to be pet and to follow you around wherever you go. Great companion dog. Very loyal. Great with small children. Curious of cats. Hesitant around men. I would love to keep him, however I am unsure of what my living situation will be soon and he needs room to run and someone who has time to dedicate to him. A donation is asked because of the vet bills. Can provide adoption records and vet records.

Rottweiler    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Not Good with Cats
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

This wonderful companion dog would be perfect for a single owner who knows the common traits of Rottweilers. Kaia is a loyal and protective female who has lived with our family of two adults and three older children for the past five years. We have relocated and cannot keep her. Our wish is to find her a new forever home with experienced Rottie owners because she is not successful controlling herself around strangers and other animals. She is exceptionally possessive when it comes to her people.

Rescue Me ID: 18-02-08-00259Bear (male)

Rottweiler    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Very Dominant
Health: Needs to be Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

I don't want to take him to paws or some other shelter cause I'm fairly certain he will be put down. He's a good dog, but he has to be separate from other animals, he has to be eased into meeting other dogs over several months. He was not well socialized as a pup. He's the typical talking rottie, that intimidates most people and he thrives on that fear from others and just pushes the issue with those people n animals he scares. His favorite things to do is bark at anyone in a uniformin, mostly ups, mail man, garbage trucks, bicycles, and chasing dirt bikes in the woods. He's best with women, tho you better be dominant or he will take ... (Read More)advantage of that. Needs someone to be alpha dog or he'll be a dick. Raised primarily by 1 male owner. He's good with kids, but gets jealous quick, mighthe get temperamental if you don't give him loves too. Might even play nibble on the child if kid is laughing. Does it to my son a lot when we rough house..(not a dangerous thing, just saying it so you don't freak out if/when it happens. In my opinion it would be best to ease him into his new life slowly, n don't get him too excited till you know his quirks. Must be on a leash at all times, unless in the woods for a run, and needs a tall fenced yard or regular walks. He's a couch potatoes and sleeps more than most cats, and content being inside all day. If it's raining good luck getting him outside unless it's been 12+ hrs. Don't bother if your a tweaker or an asshole this dog will eat you. (Less)

Hi - I'm Ben! I'm about 6 years old and in need of a home, but the right home. I'd prefer to go to a home with someone (adult) who has large-dog experience and if I'm lucky, to someone who loves Rottweilers and knows how to work with my breed. It takes me awhile to learn to trust, but once I do, I'm the most amazing dog ever! My people can give you more information about me and what I need. I'm currently in a kennel and I need a forever home.

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-29-00023DESPERATE FOR FOSTER (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

DESPERATE FOR A FOSTER HOME!!.... Rosie is a beautiful, powerful, lover of a girl that leans in for affection and pets from everyone she meets. When she's at home and in her own yard, she is an easy going 3yr old girl that weighs about 95lbs. She's not too tall... but very solid. Rosie appears to be a Rottweiler mix... maybe with some Lab and Mastiff. Whatever she is, she is a sweet, eye-catching beauty! Rosie absolutely loves people and she's gentle with children, too. Rosie lived most of her life in a backyard so she does not have proper manners when out on a walk. She is ok with some dogs but is very selective so no other dogs in ... (Read More)the home is best. It would be wonderful to find a very easy going home that is ok with just playing with her in a securely fenced yard, or cuddle with her in the house. She's great in the car, but is too stimulated when on walks if she sees other animals or critters. HER CURRENT FOSTER HOME CAN NO LONGER CARE FOR HER so we need to find another place right away. She will be a wonderful addition to a loving, easy going, large breed experienced home. She must have a SECURELY fenced backyard. She is fully house and crate trained. Rosie is a quiet, gentle girl that can be trusted home alone for a reasonable amount of hours. During foster, crate, food and supplies are provided by k9rr. (Less)
