Rescue Me ID: 14-12-17-00268Roger Black (male)
Roger is a rescued dog; his previous owners neglected him emotionally, didn't train him and fed him minimally. They allowed him to run wild without much human interaction in a large fenced yard for the first 2 years of his life. I've been working with Roger for almost a year. He's a sweet dog and wants to do well. His training is coming along very well but for the bad habit he has of wanting to chase other animals with intention to hunt. I live on a farm with other animals and am not able to let him off tether. He has recently killed a neighbor's turkey and I am in process of court hearings. I need to allow him to be adopted out. He needs to go to a home without any other animals. He is fine with teenagers/adults of any age but I am uncertain about his behavior with small children. His previous owner had two children but he was a little dominant with them, but he didn't have any manners at the time and now he does. I need to find Roger a good home with someone that is a strong, confident Alpha parent. Someplace that he can have the love and attention he deserves. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-16-00583Tyson (male)
Hi I'm Tyson! I am a well mannered six year old Lab/Rottweiler mix. I've lived with mom and dad since I was six months old and have loved every minute of it. Due to some work schedule changes and living arrangements, mom and dad can no longer give me all the love and attention I need. Believe me, I need a LOT! I have developed some minor arthritis recently but if I exercise regularly and don't lay around like a couch potato all day you'll hardly ever notice it. Mom gives be some Rimadyl or Aspirin once in a while if I walk funny. I am great with kids and most other dogs but sometimes when they get in my bubble when I am not feeling well I let them know. Once in a while I just need some alone time. I know a few commands like sit, lay, stay and heel. I do well on a leash and LOVE to play fetch and chew on ropes. Please, if you can give me a better forever home mom and dad would really appreciate it. They are devastated that they can't keep me but it's for the best. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-15-00781RILEY (male)
Some folks call me Riley, but the lady around here calls me stinker butt! I came from Oregon with a young guy who was working up there but lived in Texas. He brought me back to Texas but forgot to ask his MOM if he could have me, well she was not very happy! So, they contacted these nice ladies and well here I am...My roots are in Oregon and I am thinking I would like to go back to live here so if you want to adopt me I can join your family Jan 10th, in the new year of 2015. I am a stinker but my cuteness gets me out of trouble. The guy who got me from the farm up in that Oregon place said my mommy was a wiredhaired large dog...LOL and my dad was a shepherd rottie mix...whatever they are they sure made a cute puppy!!!! I would love my own home for the holidays...but I would rather you chose me for the perfect family member not just a present for the moment. Contact Miss Debbie at email@example.com to snatch me up. I am really good in my crate for such a little guy and I love my bed!!! Sometimes if the house gets crazy, and trust me it gets crazy around here, I even go get in my bed by myself to relax. Oh and did I tell you I love toys!!! Well, I do, all kinds...Thanks for reading and I hope to meet you real soon!!!! God's Dogs Rescue is a home based rescue. All our pups are in our homes and are socialized and ready to join your home. They are located in San Antonio, Texas and upon adoption will be transported to Washington Jan 8 arriving the 10th, 2015. All our pups are fully vetted, all age appropriate shots, neuter/spay, micro chip and transport included in the adoption fee. To adopt Riley contact Debbie at firstname.lastname@example.org (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-12-08-00510Zultan (male)
Meet Zultan! Zultan came to us as an owner surrender/neglect case. He wasn't socialized properly as a younger pup and because of that he is shy around people. He has been slowly coming out of his shell at his foster home and his foster mom states 'he is a very friendly, playful boy'. Zultan will be fixed before he goes home with you and is micro-chipped and up to date on his shots. If you would like to meet Zultan or any other of our adoptable dogs please contact us at email@example.com Zultan will also be at our adoption event on Dec 13,2014 at the Bothell Feed Center from 11-4pm

Rescue Me ID: 14-11-13-00256Dylan (male)
Darling Dylan! If this boy were human, he'd be the life of the party! Dylan is a very sweet, goofy 4yr old, 75lb boy that still acts like a puppy (selective hearing when given the 'come' command). If he doesn't want to come inside when called, he'll either run or lay on his back and cover his eyes with his paws... he's such a goof! Dylan is great with other female dogs, both large and small but is not particularly interested in having a male buddy. He's great with kids but because of his size and wiggly, goofy nature, children over 12 would be best. He must have a securely fenced backyard in which to romp and play. He love to go for walks and hiking, and he especially LOVES the water. NO cats for this boy. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-10-26-00169Maddie (female)
Maddie, like most Blue Heelers, is a very loving and high energy dog who requires lots of exercise. She is extremely intelligent, loyal and loves to play frisbee and fetch. Maddie gets along fine with most dogs but would be happiest as a single family dog. Maddie will not try to eat cats, but she will chase them. Maddie would do well with a very active family that can take her running, swimming or hiking regularly and is willing to put in lots of training time. When Maddie was a puppy she hurt her knee while playing fetch and was not treated for the injury. It slows her down a little but she gets along fine. If you are interested in learning more about Maddie and why she needs a new home please contact me. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-11-00004Billy (male)
Billy needs a great home with room to run and play. He is a wonderful dog! Gets along really well with cats and dogs. He does get anxious when there are a lot of people around (6 is pretty much his limit) especially when there is another dog there. Right now he is in an only pet home. Billy is also not good with men who have a lot of facial hair and glasses, it took him quite a while to warm up to my grandfather. He is so loving and all he wants to do is play! Great with kids. Even when they crawl over him or tugs on his tail (my nephew was two, but he knows better now) so no worries there. HIs back is about three feet high, definitely a sizable dog. He is also very sensitive about his paws, he absolutely does not like getting his nails clipped. Doesn't like being left alone and has separation anxiety, so he will bark and whine. He is not destructive, just vocal. Wherever he goes, he will go with two bags of food. Please call/email with any questions! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-04-00576Molly (female)
Little Miss Molly... this adorable girl weighs approx 40-45lbs and is approx 3.5yrs old... and what a doll!! According to the DNA test (of which we have copies), this little girl is an interesting mix of Rotti and Italian Greyhound... with a couple of other breeds in her far off ancestry thrown in. Molly loves to run and play fetch, and she absolutely loves the water. She's also very sweet and cuddly and loves people. She's often nervous when meeting new dogs so calm, controlled introductions are necessary. Once she realizes the other dog just wants to play, she loves to join in. Molly is a very nice girl that already knows some basic commands and she's quickly learning more. She will thrive in a home that has a big backyard in which to play with the kids and another medium energy, like size or larger dog... but no cats for this girl! She's very quiet and shares her toys/food/treats willingly with the other dogs. She loves to take long walks, jogs, go camping and have lots of lake or beach outings. That is, unless you have a pool in which she can play! (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Washington
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
