Purebred male Rottweiler, three years old, he's not fixed and can be used as a breeder. Great with kids and adults very loving and energetic. Would keep him if we had the space to take care of him but we live in a two bedroom upstairs apartment. We just want him to be in a place where he can be a dog. Rescue Me ID: 17-10-29-00023Tuscany (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Meet Tuscany.... she's a beautiful, powerful, lover of a girl that leans in for affection and pets from everyone she meets. When she's at home and in her own yard, she is an easy going 3yr old girl that weighs about 90lbs. She's not too tall... but very solid. Tuscany appears to be a Rottweiler... mixed with French Mastiff. Whatever she is, she is a sweet, eye-catching beauty! Tuscany loves people and with proper introduction, she's good with some dogs. She still does not have leash manners and when out walking, she becomes very protective when she sees another dog. She must have a calm, assertive, large breed experienced owner to ... (Read More)help her understand that she doesn't need to protect but instead, can just walk and smell the roses. NO cats for this girl! She will be a wonderful addition to a loving, easy going, large breed experienced home. She must have a SECURELY fenced backyard. Overall though, she is a quiet, gentle girl that can be trusted home alone for a reasonable amount of hours. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-10-17-00175BEAUTIFUL GIRL!! (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Puppy

This darling girl is now 5.5 mo old and weighs about 38lbs. We expect her to be about 55-60lbs when full grown. Daddy is a purebred Rotti, weighing about 120lbs and mama is a Staffi / Lab mix, weighing about 60lbs. She is the only female remaining in the litter. She is a little shy when first meeting new people, but within just a couple of minutes (and with the help of treats and influence of other dogs) she quickly becomes a friendly, affectionate pup. She has been very well socialized with kids and kitties so children over 6yrs old are ok. She gets along great with other dogs and because she is still a bit insecure, another medium to ... (Read More)large size dog in the home is a must. She is already fully crate trained and needs just a bit more help with the house training. She must have a fenced backyard and because of her young age, she should not be alone for more than 5-6hr intervals. The $450 adoption fee includes all 5, first year vaccines, microchip, spay surgery and deworming series. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Washington
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
