Rescue Me ID: 14-07-17-00512Kage (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Kage is a sweet heart, well trained and is eager to please. He knows several tricks, is potty trained, doesn't jump up, only barks when necessary, and can be kept indoors or out even for long periods at a time. While he is very sweet with my children (Ages 9 & 13) he has shown aggression towards smaller dogs in passing. While he has not bit or hurt another animal, he has been tagged as dangerous by Scraps for lunging at my neighbor's dog. We are looking for a good home for him, he is very loved and loves back. He does not like to be in enclosures, but loves to ride around in cars and play fetch in the back yard or swim out to get a stick.

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-04-00576Molly (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Little Miss Molly... this adorable girl weighs approx 40-45lbs and is approx 3.5yrs old... and what a doll!! According to the DNA test (of which we have copies), this little girl is an interesting mix of Rotti and Italian Greyhound... with a couple of other breeds in her far off ancestry thrown in. Molly loves to run and play fetch, and she absolutely loves the water. She's also very sweet and cuddly and loves people. She's often nervous when meeting new dogs so calm, controlled introductions are necessary. Once she realizes the other dog just wants to play, she loves to join in. Molly is a very nice girl that already knows some basic ... (Read More)commands and she's quickly learning more. She will thrive in a home that has a big backyard in which to play with the kids and another medium energy, like size or larger dog... but no cats for this girl! She's very quiet and shares her toys/food/treats willingly with the other dogs. She loves to take long walks, jogs, go camping and have lots of lake or beach outings. That is, unless you have a pool in which she can play! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-04-00172Billie Jean (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I love this dog!! She's still SO sweet... unbelievably so because she's been in a shelter/rescue environment for more than a year now!!! BILLIE NEEDS A HOME - EVEN IF JUST A FOSTER HOME FOR THE TIME BEING!!! Silly Billie Jean! This true, Heinz 57 mix (Rotti, Lab, Hound, and probably at least 1 or 2 other breeds) is a bouncy 3yr old, 60ish lb girl that no matter what's going on, she's always happy and ready to play. As you can see with her buddy Jack, she loves to run and play with other dogs but initial, controlled introductions are required. She gets a little too exited with small dogs so we make sure her playmate are at least 25-30 ... (Read More)lbs... even if they're puppies! Billie will thrive in a home that takes her for lots of long walks, jogs and hiking, and although she gets along great with other dogs, a home in which she's the only dog will be ideal... unless the other is a like-size dog. She's a very quiet, polite girl that is fully house and crate trained. She loves lots of cuddles and belly rubs so a home with kids over 12 will also be great... but no cats for this girl. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 13-05-12-00148Sherlock- GENTLE GIANT (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Sherlock is a 5 year old black male pit bull terrier with a strong, rugged physique. He weighs 74 pounds and is a little underweight due to his sad backstory. He was actually discovered Sherlock near downtown L.A., wearing a heavy leather harness, chained and padlocked to a fence. After speaking with the owner of the home near the fencing, it was determined that Sherlock had been abandoned and left to die. After feeding Sherlock several bowls of food, his gentle giant demeanor allowed us to unbuckle the many clasps on his harness and free him. After a month at the shelter, with no owner ever showing up to redeem him, Purrr Rescue rescued ... (Read More)him. Despite whatever neglect he may have endured, Sherlock is a remarkably sweet soul who just needs someone to show him that life can be good. He loves small dogs, even the yappy ones- in fact, he has been temperament tested and found to be what we believe is dog friendly! He is the kind of dog who will gain confidence from being around other dogs, and with humans Sherlock is just as affectionate once he can slowly sniff you and look you in the eye- he is an excellent judge of character, and we just want to see him showered with the love he so deserves.
