Rottweiler Mix    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Maddie, like most Blue Heelers, is a very loving and high energy dog who requires lots of exercise. She is extremely intelligent, loyal and loves to play frisbee and fetch. Maddie gets along fine with most dogs but would be happiest as a single family dog. Maddie will not try to eat cats, but she will chase them. Maddie would do well with a very active family that can take her running, swimming or hiking regularly and is willing to put in lots of training time. When Maddie was a puppy she hurt her knee while playing fetch and was not treated for the injury. It slows her down a little but she gets along fine. If you are interested in ... Rescue Me ID: 14-10-23-00572FINNEGAN (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Finnegan also known as Finnie, is a Rottweiler/Retriever mix who came into the dog pound, after he got in trouble for nipping at the heels of a kid getting off the school bus. Finnie is a big teddy bear though. Finnie is a big kid himself though, we guess him to be 8 months to a year old, and he is puppy mouthy. We are searching for just the right person, who wants a big cuddly dog! Finnie has proved to ignore cats for the most part, and does great with other dogs. He just wants to play. He will need some training, so someone who has the time to train, and care for, a younger, big dog, will be needed. We would prefer no kids, or older ... (Read More)kids, because of his puppy mouthy ness and previous incident. Ideally someone who works from home or who is retired would be great. He does have alot of energy, so having someone who is active will be important. Finnie would make a great hiking buddy! He is just as ready to be a couch potato with you, also though! If you love Rotty's he just might be the one for you! Finnie's adoption fee includes his Neuter, Rabies, Parvo/Distemper shots, and de wormer, and microchip. Finnie is being fostered near Kent WA, please email connellpetrescue@gmail.com for an application to adopt our Teddy Bear Rotty Mr Finnie! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-11-00004Billy (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: High Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Needs to be Neutered

Billy needs a great home with room to run and play. He is a wonderful dog! Gets along really well with cats and dogs. He does get anxious when there are a lot of people around (6 is pretty much his limit) especially when there is another dog there. Right now he is in an only pet home. Billy is also not good with men who have a lot of facial hair and glasses, it took him quite a while to warm up to my grandfather. He is so loving and all he wants to do is play! Great with kids. Even when they crawl over him or tugs on his tail (my nephew was two, but he knows better now) so no worries there. HIs back is about three feet high, definitely a ... (Read More)sizable dog. He is also very sensitive about his paws, he absolutely does not like getting his nails clipped. Doesn't like being left alone and has separation anxiety, so he will bark and whine. He is not destructive, just vocal. Wherever he goes, he will go with two bags of food. Please call/email with any questions! (Less)

We were given Dudley in June and was not made aware of his issues with cats, which we have one. Also he has become so nervous around our kids and grand kids plus our other dog. He needs to be an only dog. His pervious owner was a woman who has had him since he was a puppy. He appears to be fearful of men. Please help us rehomed him.

Rescue Me ID: 14-09-05-00162Taz (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Female Dogs Only, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Low Energy, Submissive
Health: Neutered

Taz is a 3 year old male that is sweet to his people. He is obedient, crate trained and trustworthy in the house. Taz would make a great companion to anyone who wants a friend. He would do great as a farm dog. He grew up in the country. He is sweet and loving. Taz can be dominant around other dogs so we would prefer him being the only dog. My daughter and son in law have moved and could not take him. They are very sad to give up their pet and would like to find a loving home for him. We cannot keep him because we work and travel a lot. He loves his family and we don't want to bring him to the Humane Society but that will be our only option ... (Read More)if we can't find a home for him. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 14-06-04-00576Molly (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Not Good w/ Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Little Miss Molly... this adorable girl weighs approx 40-45lbs and is approx 3.5yrs old... and what a doll!! According to the DNA test (of which we have copies), this little girl is an interesting mix of Rotti and Italian Greyhound... with a couple of other breeds in her far off ancestry thrown in. Molly loves to run and play fetch, and she absolutely loves the water. She's also very sweet and cuddly and loves people. She's often nervous when meeting new dogs so calm, controlled introductions are necessary. Once she realizes the other dog just wants to play, she loves to join in. Molly is a very nice girl that already knows some basic ... (Read More)commands and she's quickly learning more. She will thrive in a home that has a big backyard in which to play with the kids and another medium energy, like size or larger dog... but no cats for this girl! She's very quiet and shares her toys/food/treats willingly with the other dogs. She loves to take long walks, jogs, go camping and have lots of lake or beach outings. That is, unless you have a pool in which she can play! (Less)
