Rescue Me ID: 17-02-17-00016Tank (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Puppy

Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

This handsome fella is Tank. He's about 9 months old and what we believe to be a Rottweiler/Cattle Dog mix and weighs about 50+ pounds. He's happy, playful, and gets along with all the other dogs in the house and doesn't mind the two house cats. He is house and crate trained but wound't be good in a crate alone for 8-10 hours a day. A home with another dog or someone home more often than not would be best for this guy. If you are interested in meeting or adopting Tank please fill out the application from the link below. He's currently being fostered in Yelm, WA.

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Not Good w/ Other Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Barkley is a wonderful dog. This Rottie / Lab mix is a little older at 11, but in very good health and still quite active. He is looking for a quiet home with retired dog lovers who own their own home and have a securely fenced yard. He is being rehomed by his owners because he has become very nervous around the two toddlers he lives with. He needs to be in a home where he can enjoy his retirement without worrying about other dogs jumping on him or little kids pulling and poking at him. He is so sweet and devoted -a great friend and companion. Please offer Barkley the home he needs and very much deserves today. Call Debbie at (888) ... Animal ID: 16-08-29-00602Bullet (male)

Rottweiler    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Cats, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Needs Vaccinations

Bullet is a great dog. He was my mom and dads and then my dad passed away. My mom needs to find a new home for him. Since my parents were in their 70s when they got him he didn't receive the proper training. When he has something that he knows he is not suppose to he will not allow you to take it unless you have a treat for him or he will snap at you. My husband is trying to work with him and he doing a lot better about dropping what he shouldn't have. He needs a firm male in his life. He loves to play tug a war. We would take him but we also have a male dominant dog, which is a German Shepard. We would love to give him a good home. Thank you

Rottweiler    Age: Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Somewhat Dominant
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Phoenix is a magnificent challenge for the confident and well balanced rottie handler who enjoys the consistency of strong, positive leadership and has experience with the rehabilitation process. Phoenix has made great progress and had a few set backs but he has become an experienced pack walker, has a best friend who is another young male rottie, so he has the potential to grow, and learn by example to be a well balanced dog. Of course he is cute as all heck, but will need that special person who has the skill set to continue with his training.

Kota is a great dog! I love him very much but he has trouble with our livestock and has bitten a goat. He really needs someone who can devote more one on one time with him than I can. I have never given a dog up for adoption so I only want him to go to a better home than I can provide. Please ask me any questions you might have about him.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Washington
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
