Rescue Me ID: 17-12-30-00122Morgan (female)
Morgan is a sweet senior dog, but she is pretty skittish. She doesn't like cameras, boxes, kids, fireworks, or cats. She loves calm people and nice walks. She loves to be by the river and loves deli meat as a treat. She is an escape artist so she needs alot of supervision when she is in a fenced yard and she does not do well when she is alone in a kennel or tight space. Morgan just really loves to be around people and wants to be loved. She has a charming personality and will make you laugh. She absolutely loves her face and back being scratched and will give you kisses in return.

Rescue Me ID: 17-11-24-00325Ben (male)
Hi - I'm Ben! I'm about 6 years old and in need of a home, but the right home. I'd prefer to go to a home with someone (adult) who has large-dog experience and if I'm lucky, to someone who loves Rottweilers and knows how to work with my breed. It takes me awhile to learn to trust, but once I do, I'm the most amazing dog ever! My people can give you more information about me and what I need. I'm currently in a kennel and I need a forever home.

Rescue Me ID: 17-11-19-00363Bessa (female)
Bessa has been a part of our family for 10 years. Sadly, due to a change in our circumstances, we can no longer keep her. I am looking for a good home for her with no young children and someone who is willing to care for her arthritis and any other health conditions that arise as she ages. Bessa is a sweet, loving and loyal girl who loves to have her chest scratched, but she can get very grumpy with little kids and puppies that like to paw and jump on her. She also likes to chase cats and small dogs, not to be mean, she just wants to play and she is a very dominant female, so she isn't fond of other female dogs although she does fine with males. Bessa has pretty good manners but can be very stubborn as she is half Rottweiler but she is an excellent watch dog. She is very protective of her people, home and vehicle. Although she can act tough, she has never bitten. She loves fetch, anything that looks like a ball and going to the river. Although she would prefer to be with you wherever you go, she does very well left alone in the house. Please, only serious folks who are willing to care for her in her last few years. Thank you! |Rescue Me ID: 17-10-29-00023Tuscany (female)|
Meet Tuscany.... she's a beautiful, powerful, lover of a girl that leans in for affection and pets from everyone she meets. When she's at home and in her own yard, she is an easy going 3yr old girl that weighs about 90lbs. She's not too tall... but very solid. Tuscany appears to be a Rottweiler... mixed with French Mastiff. Whatever she is, she is a sweet, eye-catching beauty! Tuscany loves people and with proper introduction, she's good with some dogs. She still does not have leash manners and when out walking, she becomes very protective when she sees another dog. She must have a calm, assertive, large breed experienced owner to help her understand that she doesn't need to protect but instead, can just walk and smell the roses. NO cats for this girl! She will be a wonderful addition to a loving, easy going, large breed experienced home. She must have a SECURELY fenced backyard. Overall though, she is a quiet, gentle girl that can be trusted home alone for a reasonable amount of hours. (Less)

PIease Read Before Adopting a Rottweiler in Washington
Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
