Animal ID: ChesterChester (male)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Chester is a former emaciated stray. Over the past few months he's blossomed into a healthy, somewhat active, social guy who's good with other dogs and people. He's now ready for adoption. He's benn kenneled with Oreo (female who is high energy) and a male beagle who is medium energy and they all got along great. Chester is a very mixed breed mutt who shows possible traits of these breeds: German Shepherd (muzzle/head), Plott Hound (colors on body, droopy ears), and Rottweiler (mostly that mask on his face). Chester is around 1 year old and weighs about 65 lb now that he's filled out. He'd make a nice pet for a family with another playful ... (Read More)dog or that likes to go on long walks/hikes, camping, etc. He's medium to high energy, but that could be due to the fact that he's kenneled now. Once that burns off in a foster or adoptive home, he might turn out to be a medium energy fellow. At his current energy level, he's probably best suited for kids age 10 and up. Around 2 years and 65 lb. Available to rescues or adopters in northeastern states. Apply to adopt at http://artbar.petfinder.com (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 17-02-13-00665Suki (female)

Rottweiler Mix    Age: Senior

Compatibility: Good w/ Most Dogs, Good w/ Most Cats, Good w/ Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Submissive
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Suki is a wonderful dog. She is a good protector, great with dogs, cats, kids and adults. She is the love our life who deserves a great home. It would be ideal if you were able to adopt Koko, her companion most of her life. It will break my heart to leave her, but my husband left me, I cannot keep my home, and am having a hard time finding a place to live with dogs (we have 3 total). I pray that you have it in your heart to adopt her. She is a beautiful animal and family member.
