Rescue Me ID: 15-04-24-00163Paisley (female)
Hi, my name is Paisley. I am a 6 year old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix. As they say I'm the whole package; housetrained, kennel trained, HW negative, spayed, fully vaccinated and micro chipped. All I need is my very own forever family and home. I would do best in a home with no kids or older kids, and no cats. I love to snuggle, get belly rubs, and the challenge of treats in my Kong. I enjoy walks with my people and am getting better on leash. I am a strong girl and will pull if I see something I want. Even though I am kennel trained, there really is no need to keep me kenneled. I'm not destructive at all and treat all my toys gently. I am a quiet girl and don't bark unless there is a reason. My foster family say I am very smart and learn quickly. Do you have room in your heart and home for me? The adoption application can be completed at www.furfunrescue.org. For more information about Paisley please contact email@example.com or call 319-929-6657. Indoor homes only. Adopters within a 2 hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA only. Adoption donation $200. (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 15-03-28-00312Lucy (female)
Lucy was born in November 2012 and arrived at the shelter with her mom and littermates when they were just 12 days old. Lucy was adopted and recently returned to the shelter when her family had a new baby and they could no longer care for her. Lucy is an active, energetic and strong young dog that needs a home with no young children and no other dogs or cats. She wants all the attention! Smart as a whip and loves to play fetch with the tennis ball. Lucy will keep you active and on your toes! An Experienced dog owner will help Lucy with her manners.

Rescue Me ID: 15-03-03-00402Honey (female)
Now that her puppies are gone, Honey is getting back into shape. This poor baby is under a year old and unfortunately no one ever took the time to teach her manners and then she ended up trying to be a mommy - which she was totally unprepared for. Honey needs a home where someone will be able to take the lead and have the time and patience to teach her manners and how to be a good family member. Right now she is all about playing, running around and jumping on people. She craves attention. She is spayed, current on her shots, micro-chipped and is housebroken. She has always gotten along well with other dogs but we have found one dog she was not at all fond of. If there is someone who has the time and patience to teach this girl manners she will be an awesome addition to a family. (Less)

Rottweiler Dogs can make good pets in Iowa if they match your IifestyIe. The Rottweiler is a large breed herding and guard dog. Rottweilers are very stable and brave. This breed needs a firm, experienced handler from the very beginning. Rottweilers can be good family pets that are trustworthy with children and other pets if they are trained and socialized from an early age. If a Rottweiler is not treated properly it can become aggressive. Rottweilers need plenty of exercise and can run in open country without a leash. Rottweilers can live in an apartment or a home with a small yard if they get enough exercise.
